Karthika Somavara Pooja on 29th November 2010: At Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple, Periamet. The Nellichettu pooja was done by sumangalis and abhishekam & pooja were done to Prassanna Venkateswara Swamy. Vishnu Sahasra Namam was chanted by mahilas. Prasadams was distributed to more than 200 people. The mahilas present at the pooja were Smt. Ranjani Narayanan, Smt. Sujatha Ramesh Babu, Smt. Shantha Sridhar, Smt. Saroj Guruswamy, Smt. Shantha Venkatakrishna, Smt. Calve Sumathi Ramakrishna, Smt. Janaki Dwarakanath, Smt. Uma Maheswari Guptha and others.
