International Women’s Day was celebrated on February 27,2013 at Ethiraja Kalyana Nilayam , Chennai. Cookery competition was held and there was good response from the members . Any sweet , dessert or any dish was prepared using Pilsbury Custard Powder as the main ingredient and any savoury or snacks was prepared using Tasty and Healthy Emami Sun Flower oil. Mrs. Lakshmi demonstrated a handicraft – wall hanging to the ladies to the ladies present at the venue.Various demonstrations were done by the culinary expert Mrs.Mallika Badrinath. We celebrated 80th birthday celebration of our founder member Smt. Saroja.V.Guruswamy on that day. We thank all the sponsors for their generous contribution.
